Some users experience issues when using GPS applications on their phone. If you seem to be experiencing problems, two "tricks" to help are as follows:
1) Turn off 3g. Even though you may not be in a 3g area, turning off the 3g connection may help.
2) Turn on WiFi. Even though you may not be using WiFi, having this turned on seems to help. Note, this is the option that is most successful.
In addition, as with any GPS device, a clear, unobstructed view of the sky is necessary. Thick vegetation, tall buildings or large trees will sometimes cause intermittent GPS accuracy problems.
GPS also uses a lot of battery life, so you should minimize the amount of time iGreendale searches for locations. To control this, go to the Settings App, and change the check interval as appropriate. The longer the setting, the less accurate the app may be, but will use less power.
